TECHNOLOGY AND SERVICES

Sopinspace has recently launched the beta version of its co-ment (TM) public 
commenting system. With co-ment, any user can upload texts and submit them 
for public comments. Users can then create comments that apply to segments of 
the published text, search for comments and manage them. co-ment exists as a 
free-of-charge service and as a commercial service. The free-of-charge 
service has limitations regarding the number of texts that can be made 
publicly commentable, and restricts the possibility to authorize only 
selected users to view or comment a text. See:

OPERATIONS AND PROJECTS

Sopinspace is a participant into the Comunia European Network (The European 
Thematic Network on the Public Domain in the Digital Age). This network is 
co-ordinated by the NEXA institute at Politecnico di Torino. It federates for 
the next 3 years the European players involved in innovative creation and 
usage of the public domain and Creative Commons.
